This umbrella (in Bahasa Indonesia: payung) used to be a symbol of social status for Sundanese ladies. In this age? Not anymore, though. This embroidered extravagance umbrella is one of the most beautiful handmade umbrella made in small city to the east of Bandung, Tasik Malaya. When I saw it in the Cooperative Fair, I couldn’t help myself to stay away from it. That time I remembered that Patricia loves it very much.
