This gamelan is an Indonesian traditional music ensemble. Just like an orchestra, gamelan is also composed by several music instruments; saron, bonang, gong, etc. The Sundanese traditional violin played by the man on the picture called rebab. You can hear the harmony of gamelan in this page.

That gong set on the floor—we call them a "kumintang" here. It's an instrument common in Mindanao, the Philippines' southernmost large island. I love it! I actually think I was born in the wrong island. Because I love their woven patterns too—very similar to what you have posted here.
