Finally we - Patricia, I and Aita - arrived in more dense forest. I particularly love this forest very much. We are regular visitors to this place, and exploring this forest is one of Aita's favorite activities. This lady, Bi Encin, was taking a rest after working for whole morning collecting elephant grass for her cows in her house. She and her sister had to walk for 2-3 km from her house to reach the field where they could cut the grass. "This ammount of grass just enough for 2 cows per day." she said. Yes, it's hard work. Even Aita admired them.

t une belle promenade, et une belle histoire. Mais le travail est bien dur pour ces paysans. Où est l'égalité dans notre monde ? Et le plaisir pour tous ?
Thats a lot of work to feed the cows. Excellent photos.
Thank you for the comment that you left on my Daily Photo site for Costa Rica.
Your photo of the farmers gathering grass for their cows shows the hard work that some people do by hand for tasks that others would lnever think of doing.
The closest thing I can think of in Costa Rica is that there are some families who take an ox cart into a river and they shovel up sand from the river bed into the ox cart. A full ox cart will bring $8 USD for the sand, which is used for making cement.
It looks like very hard work in a beautiful location.
halah...keren pisan euy! kapan-kapan nyoba ah!
What a beautiful hike through those lush trees and vegetation. How nice for those cows to eat all that beautiful grass instead of corn like most American cows.
I appreciate your comment today on my blog! Please visit again. I'm looking forward to exploring your archives.
Cheers,
Laurie
