Great Stupa

I posted the Vihara Vipassana Graha yesterday. Stupa is a sanskrit word literally means heap, a mound-like structure usually containing Buddhist relics. I am not sure if there are Buddhist relics placed in this stupa. A beautiful sculptured wooden door is nicely attached to this stupa sending the message of great history of Buddha in Indonesia.

I love Buddhist temples architecture! I've seen many on my travelling through Asia, but I'm allways amazed when I see a new one. Great shot!
