Sky Watch Friday > Gunung Putri Village

The sky over the Gunung Putri Village. I was on the small hill and faced the south side of the stiffy valley. Those small clusters of houses are presenting the life happening in small vilage like Gunung Putri. Visit the SWF page for other fabulous sky pictures.

big sky, and a great shot!

To answer your question, I'm going from memory, but I think I shot that at f/8.0 and 1/60 second at ISO 200. Canon 30D with a nothing-special 75-300mm zoom tripod mounted. the biggest thing is to eliminate as much ambient light on the ground around you as possible. then shoot, adjust, repeat until you get something you like.

Great shot!
Wonderful to see the big threatening clouds, and I like the silhouettes of the trees in the foreground.
Happy X-mas!
