New Restaurant at Pines Forest

As usual, we visited and walked at pines forest yesterday. We realized that a new restaurant that they built not far from the main gate of Cikole Camping Ground was extended and now we even could see the backyard of that restaurant. Click the picture to enlarge it.

Pines Hiking 06

Finally we - Patricia, I and Aita - arrived in more dense forest. I particularly love this forest very much. We are regular visitors to this place, and exploring this forest is one of Aita's favorite activities. This lady, Bi Encin, was taking a rest after working for whole morning collecting elephant grass for her cows in her house. She and her sister had to walk for 2-3 km from her house to reach the field where they could cut the grass. "This ammount of grass just enough for 2 cows per day." she said. Yes, it's hard work. Even Aita admired them.

Pines Hiking 04

Patricia, I and Aita arrived in this beautiful grassy track, from where we could see the whole pines forest on the left side of photo. And how’s Aita? She disappeared, but we were not worry about that, since we know that she always can find us. We continued walking ahead to the west, following this track. We knew that we’d arrive at more dense forest.

Pines Hiking 03

When Patricia, I and Aita hiked at Cikole pines forest last weekend, at certain point, we arrived at small hill. We climbed, and unexpectedly we saw a small beautiful grassy track which I'll show you tomorrow. Can you notice in the picture, how Aita lead us?

Pines Hiking 02

Last weekend Patricia, I and Aita hiked in the pines forest at Cikole, and suddenly we arrived in the area of young pines trees. I think, they are not more than 2 year old. We stood at the hill, from where we could see the beautiful contour of the whole green pines forest.

Pines Hiking 01

Yesterday, Patricia, I and Aita went again to Lembang, my favorite place to spend our weekend. Cikole was our choice, and I of course, Aita was very enthusiastic. Pines forest is always her great fun. We decided to explore the western part of forest, and here are the pictures of our hiking time! Starting from the gate of Cikole Gate of Tangkuban Perahu, we walked on the stones way to the south-west. Aita, as always, pointed herself to be the pioneer of the group. The day was hot, but surprisingly fresh! Tomorrow, I'll continue with another picture of our hiking experience.
