Kampoeng Legok

This cozy cafe, Kampoeng Legok, is located at Kol. Masturi street, not far from Cihideung, about 15 km from Bandung. Although they put cafe on it's name, this place actually a Sundanese Restaurant. It's an open air restaurant, with small cozy wooden bungalows to sit and enjoy your dishes. Noticing a lot of laterns around the place, it must be great to visit this place in the night.
The dishes that Patricia and I ordered, fried chicken, tumis kangkung, eggplant with lamb, fresh soy and peanut sauce, and sure, chilli sauce, were amazingly great. We'll be back!

As usual, we visited and walked at pines forest yesterday. We realized that a new restaurant that they built not far from the main gate of Cikole Camping Ground was extended and now we even could see the backyard of that restaurant. Click the picture to enlarge it.

Fuego, the fire of Cihideung

The first thing that attracted us, Patricia and I, when we entered Fuego, the barbeque and grilled restaurant at Cihideung, was a beautiful wooden ceiling. This restaurant was newly opened at 2nd of June 2008, so it was the main reason why we choosed barbeque as our lunch. An open air concept gives a fresh environment and we enjoyed it very much. We ordered ribs, and guess what! Delicious! Fuego (spanish: fire) just gives more life to Cihideung. Though, I don't know why they tagged this restaurant in Spanish.

Pepper Lunch at Parijs van Java

This Japanese restaurant franchise, Pepper Lunch (you have to pronounce it: Peppaa Ranchi), has more than 200 restaurants all over the world such as in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, China, USA and Indonesia.
Pepper Lunch just opened its outlet at Parijs van Java - Bandung. The place is nicely designed with rich color. But don't expect to see a traditional Japanese ornaments in this restaurant. But the ribs eye steak that I ordered was a knock out! Greasely delicious! The raw steak was delivered on the 250 deg F hot plate. The steam can be eaten raw or well done depending on your preference. You can put the sauce of your choice; honey or garlic. Was I satisfied? I was. Arigato gozaimashita!
